Between daydreams and living, music is the core of my life.
I believe, fiercely, music connects us to one another, threading my heart to yours and stitching us together in such a profound way that the effects stretch across lifetimes. This is the reason we are still performing and celebrating pieces written almost 900 years ago (Léonin's Viderunt Omnes, 1150) while still soaking in the joys of modern music (Lin-Manuel Miranda's The World Was Wide Enough, 2015). Music bring us to one another, creating space to exist both beyond the ordinary and within it.
